Arsenal have been hit with yet more bad injury news as Arsene Wenger confirmed that midfielder Francis Coquelin is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The Frenchman was forced off with a hamstring problem and the Gunners boss has confirmed that he could miss around a month.
Whilst Wenger could not confirm an exact time frame he was prepared to hazard an initial guess at between three and four weeks, before getting a more detailed return date after a scan.
Losing Coquelin only adds to the Gunners’ problems, with Spain international Santi Cazorla already out for a lengthy period and Egyptian Mohamed Elneny away in international duty at the African Cup of Nations.
