With the crunch-tie in the Champions League against Barcelona just weeks away, @DanGaleaStJohn believes the Gunners have a good chance of a positive result.

Here, he identifies three reasons as to why he feels the game isn’t going to be easy for Barcelona and why he believes Arsenal could issue a strong statement to Europe with a positive result.

We’ve already beaten them once.

The last time Arsenal faced Barcelona home, the team came down from a goal down to win 2-1. Obviously, a lot has changed, and Barcelona are arguably much better. But the players and supporters have the belief that it can be done again.

It will prove to be the biggest test of the season, but it is not an impossible one.

Few injuries

Rosicky, Wilshere, and Cazorla are the only three players expected to miss out on this tie. This will come as a big boost for Arsenal, who have been hampered with so many injuries this season.

Hopefully, a fully fit Coquelin will take the place of Flamini, who – in the opinion of some – was fortunate not to get sent off in Sunday’s game for a reckless challenge.

Convincing wings when Arsenal were underdogs

Arsenal won for the first time away to Olympiakos to guarantee them a place in the last 16 when it seemed impossible that they would qualify. They won 2-0 at home to Bayern, and 3-0 at home to United.

The tie isn’t over till it’s played, so you never know what will happen on the day. Keep the faith.
