With Alexis Sanchez well into the final 18 months of his deal at the Emirates Stadium and looking to be an extremely frustrated figure, the likelihood of the Chilean international departing North London in the summer is growing.

Arsenal have desperately been trying to secure Alexis, and Mesut Ozil, to new long-term deals but are yet to persuade either to put pen to paper, with the poor performances on the field not helping their cause.

There’s a growing consensus that Alexis Sanchez deserves a lot better than he’s currently getting with Arsenal and the two-time Copa America champion may seek a transfer to a more competitive club in Europe at the end of the season.

If Arsenal were to lose Alexis, they would have a massive hole to fill in their side as they’d lose a world-class player who’s versatility makes him the best left-winger and also the best striker in the squad, making the blow even more significant.

There is players out there that could replace Alexis on the left though and these four targets should certainly fill the void if necessary.
