There’s a new arrival at Arsenal at last and his name is Rob Holding who arrived from Bolton Wanderers earlier today.
While there will be calls over a lack of ready-made transfers at Emirates Stadium, Holding is an extremely bright prospect who has already won caps for the England Under-21 international side.
Receiving Aaron Ramsey’s old squad number (16) to boot, perhaps Holding could do a Carl Jenkinson and Calum Chambers in being afforded opportunities in Arsenal’s first team ahead of schedule.
But in the meantime, Gooners will just be hoping he isn’t the final piece of transfer business conducted by Arsene Wenger this summer.
