We’re nearly at the end of July now and whereas most Premier League clubs’ fans might be feeling relatively content with their transfer dealings (bar Everton!), Arsenal fans aren’t sure.
The signing of Granit Xhaka gave everybody a tremendous lift early on in the window and many were hoping that this was finally a sign of big things to come throughout June, July and August.
However, just Takuma Asano and Rob Holding have joined since then with Gooners currently embroiled in a will he, won’t he dilemma over Riyad Mahrez’s eventual whereabouts this summer.
Arsenal fans can’t help but feel envious about the way in which other clubs seem to run their transfer business.
Make no mistake; the Gunners have brought in big names such as Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech in recent years but deals seem to take that much longer for Arsenal to conclude compared to the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
With Arsenal continuing to bide their time in the market, we’re taking this moment to list FIVE completed signings that we feel the Gunners have missed a trick on this summer.
