Arsenal are set for a period of change this summer, where the most high-profile departure could see long-serving manager Arsene Wenger call time on his tenure in charge of the Gunners. However, he may not be the only man out of the exit door.

With the Gunners struggling to make progress in the Champions League and failing to launch a real threat for the Premier League title since their last triumph in 2004, key-players could decide they’re better off elsewhere competing for major trophies.

Arsene Wenger, or whoever replaces him, have a major job on their hands to convince the top performers to remain at the Emirates Stadium but it’s easier said than done- especially with Europe’s elite keeping tabs and considering a swoop.

There’s a number of players that find themselves in this situation and Arsenal fans may need to come to the terms with the fact that there could be a mass exodus this summer- and any exit for Wenger could increase the likelihood of player’s jumping ship, as he’s looked upon fondly by a whole host of players.
