Rosicky voted Footballer of the Year

Arsenal winger Tomas Rosicky has been voted Czech Republic Footballer of the Year for the third year running.

Rosicky won the votes of a 104-member panel of players, coaches and soccer association officials.

He also won in 2001 and 2002. Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech and Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved followed in second and third place respectively.

Cech was also last year's winner.

Rosicky had already won the Golden Ball Award for the best Czech soccer player last season, which was organized by Sports Journalists Association of Czech Republic.
