Arsenal are keen to land Stuttgart starlet Berkay Ozcan in a deal to bolster their midfield ranks, the Turkish ace’s agent told Football.London.
19-year-old Ozcan has impressed with Stuttgart this season, as the German club hold a two-point advantage at the top of the second-tier, and the teenager has provided a huge impact in the club’s quest to secure a return to the Bundesliga.
Ozcan has attracted vast attention following his performances this season as he’s scored three goals and secured a further three assists for his team, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young players within German football.
Stuttgart will certainly struggle to retain his services in the long-term though and his agent, Baris Yukselsen, has confirmed the Gunners are one of the sides holding an interest in his signature.
‘Many top clubs are interested at Berkay. Arsenal has Berkay on its list, but at the moment he is focusing on Stuttgart’s resurgence.’
