Much of the summer’s transfer speculation has surrounded another centre forward possibly entering the Emirates door. Edinson Cavani, Karim Benzema, and recently Alexandre Lacazette have all been linked with moves to Arsenal and while it is clear Arsenal are in need of a proven consistent goalscorer, it is uncertain as to whether or not Wenger will spend the cash. Much to gooners’ dismay, Wenger is seemingly content with his attacking options, so much that he has offloaded the likes of Podolski and Sanogo and Campbell in the past.

The boss spent over £50 million last summer in attacking recruits, bringing in Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck, and with Theo Walcott having finally returned to the fray, he may feel he has more than enough attacking options. For me, Arsenal should enter the market yet again for world class goal poacher, but in the event that Wenger opts against it (which is likely to be fair), let analyze the option in attack available to Arsenal.

All of them are good players , but non of them is outright cutting edge goal machine striker who can score 20+ goals a season . Arsenal need badly to sign a world class striker and wenger can rotate these players up front to score between 10 to 14 goal a season to help the main cutting edge striker for Arsenal to have any chance to win championships and trophies.

I truly believe Wenger must start Theo as his # 1 striker. Based on my study he should score 26+ goals as an all out striker.
      Theo
      Caz Ozil Theo
      Ramsay Coc
      Monreal koc Mert Lightning fast
      C- man

When you look at the ‘top’ strikers around their goals to games are no different to Giroud’s or Sanchez. Higuain isn’t going anywhere, Benzema is moody, Lacette is untried, Cavani is too expensive you then have the next tier down. Costa was good up to Christmas and then little contribution. The idea is great but the realisation is something else. If and it is an if Walcott can put in a relatively injury free season you might find we have enough for a Plan A and B. We have an abundance of creativity behind the front line. If we got Carvalho and another defender that may be enough.

I agree 100%. Theo should be our #1 striker with Ozil Caz & Sanchez supporting him. Def mid could be Ramsay & Coq. Though a strong Def mid should be on the menu.
In summary we dont really require a striker with the talent we have….once again in order- Theo Giroud welbeck

Ridiculous! I don’t think we need to dishearten our prolific strike force with a big name! Seeing as Sanchez has equalled Henry debut season, add that with a fit giroud and a hungry Walcott, with a wilshere showing us some of the most exciting football from a Brit since…ever, not to forget goals from ozii n 21 ox!sorted!! He will shine this season!!!
