Does anyone appreciate Arsene Wenger for his ethics and staunch loyalty?

Do we forget all too easily about our brand, spanking new stadium? Or the new way of playing he brought to 1-0 Arsenal; the kind of quick witted, speedy play that once outshone all rivals?

Aren’t the players the ones to blame for messing things up time and time again? It’s hard to fathom what they were doing letting Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria have the park to themselves!

Surely we can’t blame the gaffer for Kieran Gibb’s unlucky own goal? Or our inexplicable lack of poise in front of goal against Louis van Gaal’s side?

Surely it isn’t Le Professeur’s fault that once again his resources are affected by injuries and poor form? How we miss Theo Walcott’s pace, Mathieu Debuchy’s experience, Laurent Koscielny’s pace and so on.

I feel that, should the unthinkable happen and Arsene was to leave before his contract was up, we’d find ourselves in a long rebuilding process much like last Saturday’s opponents.

This is insane! What do you mean by this? So, should Wenger stay to this job until he is 150 years just because of of your argument?

That’s exactly the kind of arguments that lay the ground for the incredible complacency we’re observing at Arsenal

First off, Arsene didn’t fund, design and build the stadium all by himself. He was part of the process like so many others

Second, I don’t know how you can separate the players responsibilities from the coaching. It is well documented that we have seen the same mistakes over, over and over again. If the player doesn’t react properly, with training and coaching, you rectify. If the player can’t seem to improve, you bench him. The responsibility is entirely with the coach

Finally, the injuries. I also blame it all on Arsène for playing with fire with his ultra thin squad, not rotating players at all (Podolski, Rosicky, Campbell, etc) and buying small technical players that are likely to get more injured in the Premier League because of the fast AND physical playing style. And sticking with injury prone player for way too long, this is Arsene’s fault also

I have nothing but respect for Arsène and his legacy. But there comes a time when you need to know when change is required. And the time is now

There was a life before and there will be life after Arsène. Loyalty, principles, financial health, this is all great. But what is even better as a fan, is RESULTS

We have to thank arsene wenger for all the work he put into getting us one of or maybe the best stadium in the country. But we haven’t sighned enough quality players right through the park we just don’t have the quality other teams have. It seams to me arsene is a bit scared of spending out on players it’s like he’s spending his own money and don’t want to part with it. Maybe it’s time for arsene to move on and get some new blood in the club. U till then the players need to start earning there wages I’ve seen more heart in teams on a Sunday morning local football they are a disgrace to all the supporters that sruggle to find money to watch the games that pay there fantastic wages. What ever happens we should be thankful to arsene wenger for what he has done for the arsenal.

Players are the ones who play on the grass but who selects the team? Who advises the board on where to strengthen or who to buy/sell? Whose tactics do the players follow? Think AW is innocent ? False! Some of our players do not deserve to pull our red and white on their backs. AW has to be bold and drop them from the team. Tired of mediocrity.

The fingers are being pointed at the right person. He selects the team, he decides the tactics, he makes the substitution, he’s the one who decides to play the same players over and over regardless of their form. He is the manager a highly respected one who has a lots of influence on the board. He should have made sure we bought the players we need in the position we lacking. We stood by and defended him ten yrs and you write such rubbish about pointing fingers. He once brought us all you listed and we loved respected and stood by him throughout the drought. That doesn’t means we should continue to tolerate what’s going on. Times has changed so he must learn to adapt. The game is no longer played the way it was played when he first came. He is a brilliant coach but he has to react to his team situation on the field. He has to make tactical changes and start to study his opponents. He doesn’t have the quality of players to play his style of play so he must use the current players correctly and buy a natural DM a Natural winger striker cb etc. If he wants to continue his style of play he needs to spend the money on those type players. They are no longer cheap. The fact that we can’t even sell players for profit like we used to should be a lesson for him and the club that times has changed. If Arsene leaves Arsenal we will survive. Arsene will not live or coach forever so I’m not sure what you’re on about fearing the worse.
