Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo could be headed to Amsterdam on a season long loan with Ajax. The move would see him link up with Arsenal legend and former striker Dennis Bergkamp, as reports allege that all parties are interested. The move would certainly benefit all parties as well, particularly the player, as Sanogo has fallen out of favour at Arsenal recently.

The 22 year old burst onto the scene in 2013 for the France U-21 side after some impressive displays in the Euros. He refused a new contract at Auxerre before signing for Arsenal with huge potential and raw talent.

He however failed to make an impact at the Emirates, bagging just one official goal for the club and found himself out casted from the first team. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace but failed to cement his place there.

Reports in the Daily Mail have now emerged claiming Ajax have opened discussions with Arsenal about bringing the player to Amsterdam, and a year under the tutalege of Bergkamp and De Boer would do a world of good.

Bergkamp of course is an Arsenal great, having spent 11 glorious years in North London. The 2nd ranked player and 11th ranked goal scorer in Arsenal history scored 120 goals in 423 games for the club en route to securing 3 league titles and 4 FA Cups.

He knows a thing or two about scoring of course, and though Sanogo will probably never acquire Dennis’ remarkable technical ability, he could learn a few things about finishing from the great man. In truth, that is all that’s lacking from his game at the moment.

What do you think gooners? I this a good move for Yaya?
