What is wrong with us? Another injury to a key player and we still remain clueless as to why we continue to suffer.
Gabriel was forced off in the first-half of last night’s clash against Queens Park Rangers with a hamstring injury, which Arsene Wenger believes will rule the Brazilian out for three weeks.
This is the same player who played 28 times for La Liga outfit Villarreal this season before joining us in January.
This is so far beyond just unfortunate coincidences or bad luck.
Gabriel’s spell on the sidelines has come at the worst time with Arsene Wenger’s side making the trip to Old Trafford on Monday; a ground where we have to be at our best in terms of starting XI and mentality.
I’m nervous – and I’m sure you’re – about facing Manchester United in the FA Cup. I’m not fearful because they’ve been capable of scoring eight past in days gone by; I’m scared because this Red Devils side are woeful and yet, you know, they still have every chance of beating us and you have to wonder what mental and long-term damage that would do to our frail core.
Anyway, even in times of desperation, our fellow Gooners posts on social media provide some light relief:
Gabriel Paulista got an Hamstring injury yesterday. He is now officially an Arsenal player

Shame about Gabriel’s injury. Really wanted to see the Kosc-Gabriel partnership get a run of 4-5 games. Back to our slow BFG then. :/

Gabriel lasted 34 minutes into his fourth Arsenal game before coming off with an injury. Welcome to Arsenal’s injury room, sir.

#Arsenal players must not be holding their stretches for 8-10 seconds! #injury #gabriel

Man united will win
NO
time for a complete overhaul of the medical staff!
There is something really bad at the Emirates ground.
Since Arsenal moved to the new Emirates Stadium there are so many players injured every season and key players above all.
A little change here and there can make a lot of improvements to the “environment”.
Please ask the management to check with a Fung Shui master to see what can be done. This is not superstition – Fung Shui have proven to work.
