Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is again the talk of the transfer rumour gossip column inches.

The German international was reportedly close to leaving the Emirates in the summer, however, that never materialised. Although, a January departure sounds very likely given Lukas’ recent comments

“I can assess my situation, and it needs to change now — in the club,” he said.

“Let’s see what happens now, and let’s see what happens in the winter. It’s clear that I am not happy right now.”

The 29-year-old has made 56 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and notched a very respectable 19 goals and 11 assists given that he has only started 39 of those game. Podolski is, however, yet to make a start in the league this season and so far has only played 37 minutes of Premier League action for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Serie A side Juventus and Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg have been linked with a move for the striker.
