Arsenal got the result that was required against Everton on Sunday following the debacle against AS Monaco in the Champions League. However, the performance was again lacking, so it is important that Arsene Wenger’s men respond on all fronts against Queens Park Rangers tonight.

Earlier in the season, we were coasting against the west London-based side thanks to goals through Alexis Sanchez and Tomas Rosicky. However, a moment of headbutt-based madness from Olivier Giroud brought about the usual sense of ‘here comes the Arsenal collapse’.

Thankfully, despite Harry Redknapp side’s best efforts and a Charlie Austin penalty we held on for a vital three points.

Hopefully our former Montpellier striker will keep his cool tonight and bring the boots he wore on Sunday rather than the pair that missed an open goal or two in the Monaco clash.

If you do fancy Oli G to let us down again then you may as well make some money out of it – I’d be more inclined to throw a few quid on Theo Walcott to return to the starting line-up with a goal or two.
