Arsenal young gun Yaya Sanogo may be sent on loan in January according to the Daily Star. Sanogo scored his first goal for the club earlier this season against Dortmund, but has otherwise struggled really to make an impact with the club. He has found it particularly difficult this season, with his chances severely limited.

The player’s finishing has let him down so far in his Arsenal career, and it seems the moment many gooners have been waiting for is nearing fruition. The player may finally be sent on loan to gain some much needed experience, and Arsenal fans will be glad to hear it. This represent a smart move for Arsenal, a the player is in desperate need of regular first team football.

A regular run in a side will do wonders for his confidence as will a couple of goals under his belt. As the balls start hitting the back of the net, the stronger he will become and may return next season ready and better prepared to compete for a place in the side.

Sanogo won’t be short of options either, with several Premier League players reportedly interested in taking the player. Good news for Arsenal, as there is no better place for the player to learn and grow than in the top flight. Reports claim Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Sunderland are the three frontrunners with other suitors still to be named.

The player himself will relish this chance should it come and I would like to see Yaya leading the line for a good club. I think he has a lot to offer going forward but just lacks that little bit of instinct and confidence. Should he go, we will wish him the best and look forward to welcoming him back next season. Gooners will be watching him closely at whatever club he goes to.
