Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in signing Marcos Llorente according to reports from Spanish outlet Don Balon.

Llorente is a product of Real Madrid’s academy side La Fabrica and has made two appearances for the La Liga giants so far.

The Gunners were linked with the youngster back in October and now it appears the rumours have been justified.

Arsene Wenger admires the 21-year-old so much so that he is willing to pay ‘any price’ in order to bring him to The Emirates.

Madrid have loaned the Llorente to Deportivo Alavez to gain regular first team football. He has impressed so far for the side who sit 13th in La Liga.

Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane reportedly sees the starlet as a potential alternative to defensive midfielder Casemiro in his team in the future. But the Spaniard will have to weigh up where he is more likely to receive regular football.
