Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown was asked about his partner-in-crime Tony Adams during his regular ‘Tackle Keown’ column with the Daily Mail.

Keown, who made an incredible 449 appearances for the Gunners, was asked the question of how much does he reckon Tony Adams, in his peak, would’ve been valued at today.

Adams, who of course has the iconic statue outside the Emirates stadium, is one of the greatest defenders the English game has seen let alone Arsenal. In truth, everything the Gunners lack now, as Arsene Wenger looks to bring in reinforcements in the centre of defence, the former England international had in abundance – which is of course why Adams was such a mainstay during his 19 years with the club in which he made 669 appearances during that time.

You can see Keown’s answer to the question below, although I’d argue Man City’s Eliaquim Mangala isn’t fit to lace the boots of our Mr Arsenal.
