Shock reports have linked Arsenal with another move for Luis Suarez. Arsenal of course failed with a much publicized and maligned bid of £40million plus £1 in the summer of 2013 before Suarez completed his dream move to Barcelona a year later. The deal was worth a whopping £75million, but the player has yet to reproduce his scorching hot Liverpool form.

Suarez knocked in 69 goals in 110 Premier League appearances for Liverpool but so far has just 5 goals in 16 appearances for Barca in all competitions since his return from ban. The Metro reports that Barca are now considering offloading Suarez at a cut price, this coming after he appears to have fallen out with Luis Enrique.

He was dropped from the side that beat Elche 6-0 further fueling speculation, while the man who helped bring him to Spain in the first place, Andoni Zubizarreta, has also been sacked since.

Make of these occurrences what you will, but if rumours are to be believed, Arsenal will have quite the war chest in the summer and may be looking to land a world class striker to help push them over the line. Again, this should be take with a grain of salt as should any transfer rumour. Even more so a rumour of this magnitude.

Let’s not get too excited just yet.

He is a woderful talent for a cannibal and could be a real boost for our offensive capabilities. Played up front with Theo and Alexis, that would be a seriously formidable line. With Ozil feeding, we’d average 2-3 goals a game at least
