Confession time, I’m a social media geek; I love it. Therefore, you can imagine that I’m pretty happy to be supporting Arsenal, a club who is one of the best – if not, the best – at social media engagement in the Premier League (maybe we can get a trophy for that, too?!)

Twitter Takeovers are usually a PR disaster for clubs with rival fans hijacking the chosen hashtag, however, and correct me if I’m wrong, Arsenal always seem to deliver theirs without any viral articles doing rounds – i.e. every time Manchester United conducted one whilst Tom Cleverley was at the club, irrelevant of which first team player they’d be using, the hashtag was used as a way to abuse the midfielder.

Earlier today, Arsenal’s social media team ‘vined’ Tomas Rosicky’s responses to fans questions during the Czech Republic midfielder’s ‘Twitter Takeover’.

Below is how the ‘takeover’ went down with our midfielder – I didn’t know that Tomas had a nickname but I love it, very apt!

Enjoy!
