Arsenal and young players has been a prominent link since Arsene Wenger took over at the north London side back in 1996, could this January be another transfer window where a wonderkid is recruited?

Young players are attracted to Arsenal as they know they will be well treated by the manager, and will always get a chance to prove their worth to the team at a young age. This is evident with players such as Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.

The market in today’s game is very different to what it was back then though. With young players usually being a bargain that Wenger would recruit but nowadays those same young players are very costly, due to their potential being recognised.

Looking abroad has worked wonders for the French manager in the past, and could once again. Why not head back to Fabregas’ homeland? Here are TWO wonderkids Arsenal should recruit from Spain, they won’t be cheap, but will be more than beneficial to their long term plans…
