Santi Cazorla is Arsenal’s most capped player this season with 43 in all competitions, and has been one of the standout performers for the club this season. The Spaniard has had to adapt to a new role in the deeper lying midfield position, and has done remarkably well to hold down his place.

His performances have drawn praise from both his manager and teammates alike with Wenger saying the player proves that size doesn’t matter. Alexis Sanchez raved aboutĀ Cazorla, branding him as a “spectacular” player and one that he enjoys playing along side.

For me Santi is world class and doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. He is easily among the most technically gifted footballers on the planet and certainly one of the best two footed players in the world.

He showed he can play in multiple roles when called upon and has established himself as a crucial cog in the Arsenal machine.

Santi is having one of his best seasons at Arsenal, scoring 7 goals and contributing 9 assists, numbers that very easily could have been higher. Such has been his great influence in the side.

Stats don’t lie, he is among the league’s top chance creators and most effective play makers. We gooners love little Santi and hope he stays with Arsenal for the rest of his career.
