Arsenal stars are dominating the Premier League’s passing statistics, as EA Sports’ Player Performance Index revealed three Gunners midfielders are amongst the top ten in the league.

The data reveals that it is Santiago Cazorla who has succesfully completed more passes than any other Premier League player in the opposition half so far this season and also completed more passes in total than any other player Premier League player as well.

Mesut Ozil is also featured in the top ten, with an impressive four assists already this season; second only to Manchester City’s David Silva.

The final Arsenal star included in the data may come as a surprise, with Aaron Ramsey the third Gunners midfielder amongst the top ten. Whilst he hasn’t caught the headlines as much as his team-mates this term, an impressive passing contribution as been key to Arsenal’s progress.

Arsenal’s three representatives in the statistics see them as the second-most featured club, behind only Premier League leaders Manchester City.

However, only one Citizens star boasts a higher spot than two of Arsenal’s contingent.

Whilst these statistics are not decisive, or the be and end all in a title race, it shows that Arsene Wenger’s fluid style of football is working extremely well.
