It’s a good week for Arsenal fans, after the Gunners extended their winning run to five in the Premier League and remain top of the table alongside Manchester City.

Therefore, unless the Gunners overcome Bayern Munich on Wednesday, it wasn’t likely to see Arsenal fans have their mood improved further- but that’s exactly what has happened today!

Reported by Metro,  Premier League statistics show that Arsenal pair Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil have created the same amount of chances as the ENTIRE Manchester United squad!

United dropped to fourth at the weekend after being held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace and have scored just 15 league goals this season. Meanwhile, Arsenal have scored 16 in their last five Premier League matches.

The Red Devils have created 81 chances in the Premier League, the same amount as Arsenal’s dynamic pair have managed on their own.

It’s therefore not surprising that Ozil leads the way in Premier League assists, with 9 already after adding another two to his tally in the weekend’s victory over Swansea City.

The German World Cup winner looks on course to break Thierry Henry’s season record of 20, just 11 away with 27 matches yet to play.
