Arsène Wenger has revealed that Francesc Fabregas has suffered a foot injury and is a doubt for the match against Juventus in Turin.
Fabregas had to be substituted midway through the first half against Aston Villa today, and will have a scan tomorrow to analyse the extent of the damage.
Eboue also had to be substituted against Aston Villa, and he too faces a fight to make the Juventus match on Wednesday.
Wenger said: "The negative side of the game today is that we got two injuries that we wouldn't want to have at the moment. One is Eboue with a groin problem, the second one is Fabregas with a foot problem. Both are a small 50/50 for Wednesday night.
"That means a 60/40 against. We'll have a scan tomorrow because [Fabregas'] foot has blown up, that's not the best sign. He got a kick, I think it was McCann.
"Eboue, who did his groin, played like [former Brazil international] Garrincha on the right side. He didn't stop going forward."

i am very disappointed that Fab wasnt rested on Saturday, I thought wenger would start with Diaby and give Fabregas the last 15 minutes to keep him fresh for juve. Anyway he did it the other way round, Fab geting the first fifteen minutes instead of the last fifteen minutes, The only thing is that Fab came off injured instead of coming out fresh. Lets all hope he makes the flight to Turin.

Wow, our dear Eboue is so good that he has no one to be compared with in the modern game, only the brazilian great. What an asset then
