Arsenal defender William Gallas insists that he is happy to play left-back, in order to help his team - but only as a temporary measure.
"I play to help my team," Gallas said. "If they have a problem at left-back or right-back I help them.
"It is normal. But everybody knows my best position."
Arsène Wenger declared Johan Djourou fit to play in tonight's match against Middlesbrough, meaning that Gallas will be available to play left-back.
With unconvincing displays in the position from Justin Hoyte and Wenger's unwillingness to use Mathieu Flamini in the position anymore, Gallas's versatility is a massive boon.
He even played in that position for France during the week, setting up a goal for Sidney Govou.
