Optimistic Ljungberg admits poor start

Freddie Ljungberg believes Arsenal's win over Manchester United can kick start their season, despite the Gunners' poor form in their first three games.

Arsenal took only two points from their first three games, which, on paper, looked like easy wins, but Ljungberg insists his side have always been confident they can challenge for the title this season.

"We have always been confident, but of course when you only have two points from the first three games, it is not a good start," Ljungberg told Arsenal TV Online.

"We have just not been able to win the games. We have conceded some soft goals in the past, then it has been hard to win games.

"That has been something we have had to work on and hopefully we can now get back on track.

"Against Manchester United, we showed everybody how good we are."
