New Arsenal signing Tomas Rosicky admits that victory over archi-rivals Manchester United was the turning point in Arsenal's season.
The Gunners suffered one of their worst starts to a Premiership season, and were heavily tipped to suffer a defeat to United, who were playing at home.
However, a late Adebayor goal sealed victory for the Gunners, who deserved to win after dominating for much of the match.
Rosicky said: "Winning in Manchester was a big scalp for us.
"They had made a good start to the season, but we went there and won and we are still the only team to beat them so far this season.
"That result set us up for the run we are now on. And it was a victory we deserved."
Rosicky also reiterated his delight at moving to Arsenal, who play his ideal version of football.
Rosicky added: "I am very happy here at Arsenal and English football is what I expected.
"The main difference between this and international football is that the Premiership is much quicker.
"Yes, it is also physical, but I was prepared for that and I feel I have adapted to it."
