Thierry Henry has not traveled with the squad to face Bolton later today.
The Arsenal captain suffered a neck injury but is not expected to be out for long, with Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger expecting Henry to be fit against Fulham on Wednesday night.
Wenger said: "It is a short-term problem, and he should be okay for Wednesday night against Fulham.
"He has a stiff neck and cannot rotate so it is impossible to play (on Saturday).
"It is inflamed and you never know how it will respond to treatment, but it is not a long term injury."
Before today, the Arsenal manager had said that he is now willing to give more playing time to teenager Theo Walcott, and Henry's absence today may just provide the opportunity for this.
