Gaël Clichy has called on his Arsenal team mates to focus ahead of the upcoming busy Christmas schedule.
Arsenal take on Blackburn on Saturday, then travel to Watford and Sheffield United before finishing the new year programme against Charlton.
And Clichy is targeting maximum points from all four fixtures.
Clichy said: "The manager has always told us that around Christmas is the most important time of the season because we have so many games.
"There is a chance all of the teams can drop points, so we need to start from now and get maximum points ourselves.
"When you look at the names of the teams we will be playing, you could say it will be easy - but we know that in football all games are difficult and different."
And Clichy is not about to use the age of the young Arsenal squad as an excuse for any dropped points.
Clichy added: "We do not need to hide behind the age of the team. We are young, we know that.
"If we want to be top players then we have to play like top players.
"So all of us, the older players too, we have to carry on and work hard."

I agree with clichy that the age of the team is being used to much as an excuse for dropping points. It is a lack of concentration and defending set peices poorly. in the 5 draws at home, we've had to come from behind in all. some players are making silly mistakes and we have to chase the game. when we have our first 11 out the team is not that young. lehmann, gallas, toure, gilberto, lundberg, rosicky, van persie, henry, their no spring chickens and have plenty of experience to bring on the younger lads. come on arsenal big push over xmas and another long run in champions league
