Hoyte: I have to shout at Henry sometimes

Justin Hoyte's performance against Charlton was evidence of the young Englishman's growing confidence in an Arsenal team riddled with superstars.

Even more surprising then, that the biggest superstar of them all has advised the young Hoyte to have the courage to rebuke the captain himself.

It is a sign of the immense team spirit within the Arsenal camp, that Thierry Henry has allowed himself to be open to disagreements from his young charges.

Hoyte said: "There are times when you might have to shout at him for something in a match but he tells us: 'Sometimes you are going to have to shout at me to help the team.'"

"So if you have to shout, you have to shout.

"It's possible he might not take it lightly, just like another player. But when I shouted at him, he reacted fine, just the way that I wanted.

"It's just great to see that because he can shout at me if he wants. He helps all of the young players.

"It's fantastic to have him up front. He is fully fit, he is a great person and he showed in the match how good a player he is.

"He gives us a lot of support and talks to us all the time. It's just great for Thierry to be there because he is a world-class player."
