Lauren says goodbye to the fans
Right-back Lauren has left Arsenal to join Portsmouth, and although he was delighted with the transfer, the Cameroon full-back admitted that it was a difficult decision to make.
But he said that the move was best for his career and he can now concentrate on getting first team action again.
Lauren said: "I am have been there for six unbelievable years, it is has been fantastic.
"I am very happy and the fans have been fantastic and I will keep them in my heart forever.
"I can now concentrate on my career and look forward.
"I would like to get into Europe [with Portsmouth], it is a good squad with many good players and we can keep winning games."
