An injury to Julio Baptista during yesterday's 1-1 draw with Bolton in the FA Cup has forced manager Arsène Wenger's hand in the January transfer window.
The Arsenal manager, who previously said that he wouldn't be buying, has now said that he may have to resort to a "panic buy".
Asked after the Bolton match if he would make a signing in the three remaining days of the window, Wenger said: "That is a good question, but I cannot give you an answer.
"Normally I would say no, we won't do anything, but we have lost van Persie and we will see what Baptista has.
"I would see it as a panic buy because it was not planned."

Can you please point to me where the headline is misleading to the quotes? If you need clarification, please refer to the BBC website.
I would appreciate it as well, if the comments on this site are constructive, as if all you're looking to do is swear and abuse, then don't waste time, mine or yours.
In general, we do look to clarify and confirm all sources when we're posting our articles, but we are only human and mistakes do happen (especially at 5 AM GMT when most of these articles are written, scheduled for publishing later).
If you do have constructive feedback to give, please feel free. We're always listening.

Wouldn't not posting articles with misleading titles be better? Chase those hits baby, let's not worry about silly things like integrity or the truth and the fact he said the opposite of the headline.
Poor as usual.

I doubt you will post this Mr Chong but you are increasingly striking me as being a hack -
Look at the quote and then look at your title -
2 completely different things.
You seem a good writer but try to make things more factual.
Writing requires credibility.

Wouldn't a loan be better, Arsene?
