Wenger furious at bad refereeing

Arsène Wenger is furious that bad refereeing ultimately cost Arsenal to lose the FA Cup game against Blackburn last night.

The Gunners had at least two good penalty appeals turned down, and saw several decisions not go their way.

Wenger said: "I feel hard done by.

"We could make a good tape [of similar incidents] since the beginning of the season.

"I can point out plenty of other games too when we have had bad luck like this.

"Tonight we had two reasonable claims and in the first game [against Blackburn] we had one that was 100 per cent.

"We shouldn't even be here at Ewood Park because it was so clear in the first game.

"I'm not a referee. But I just want the right decisions to be made, whether it's us or somebody else."

Referring specifically to the penalty appeals from Jeremie Aliádíère and Freddie Ljungberg, Wenger said: "They were quite reasonable ones.

"In the first game there was already one, a 100 per cent one. We shouldn't be here tonight because we should have had a penalty in the first game."

I think it was bad refereeing and I agree with wenger because if they did have that penalty like wenger said they wouldnt be there

Jesus like hes the only one that gets hard done by, stop moaning and start training your players to score more than the opponets that way you wont rely on pens

Come on, Arsene.

Have you forgotten how we won in the 2001/02 season. A series of unfair incidents that led to the the team knowing that the only way to treat unfair treatment is to show it in football by beating everyone and wining the title.

The turn around was the game in Liverpool after Arsenal was down to 10 men.

No point blame the ref, the fixtures, FA whatever. I know it's unfair but complains won't help. Team up together and win.
