Tomas Rosicky is aiming to seal fourth spot on Tuesday when Arsenal play their game in hand against Manchester City at the Emirates.
The Gunners raced 5 points clear of Bolton over the weekend when they beat the Trotters 2-1 after going a goal down.
Rosicky scored the equalising goal and he believes that an 8-point gap on Tuesday would be unsurmountable by any other team with four games left to play.
He said: "There are still a few games to play but if we manage to win it, then we will be very close.
"Not to mention that anything can happen ahead of us as Liverpool lost points in Manchester."
Little Mozart, as he is so affectionately known, also revealed that he has been suffering from an illness of late but felt well enough to take part in the match against Bolton.
Rosicky continued: "I felt very well already, however my movement was not absolutely ideal.
"I did not do so much running as I do usually.
"I hope I did not play bad, but now I have to rest properly to be ready for Tuesday's game against Manchester City.
"We'll see how I feel tomorrow. Anyway I think all the problems have gone and from now on I can focus purely on football."

I wonder if his illness has anything to do with the prostitutes that visited him and his Czech teammates a couple weeks ago...

Rosicky can become a very significant player in the Arsenal team but what is needed is a leader of men who will take games by the scruff of the neck and drive the rest of the team forward
