Real Madrid are believed to want to secure a permanent deal for winger José Antonio Reyes and hoping that Arsenal will sell in a cut-price deal.
Reports have indicated that Real have tabled a a £6 million offer for Reyes, which is half the fee they agreed when they initially signed him on-loan last summer.
Reyes has made it clear that he prefers to play in Spain and has been holding out for a permanent deal to Real.
Real's sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has revealed they are now trying to negotiate a bargain price with Arsenal for Reyes.
"We will negotiate for Reyes again.
"We will talk this over with Arsenal and negotiate a lower fee."

Sure!, try and get Reyes at a knock down when they wouldnt knock Babtista down! Hold out Arsenal! everyone knows he is a real talent. Losing that kind of cash is unexeptable! Real behave like used car salesmen. I hope we never deal with these crooks again!
