Arsenal are aiming to improve on their Champions League record in Eastern Europe, starting with a difficult away trip to Romanian side Steaua Bucharest tonight.
Manager Arsène Wenger has admitted that the Gunners do not usually put in good peformances in Eastern Europe, and said: "We do not have a good record in Eastern Europe.
"We have to show that we can improve that. It's always a strange atmosphere over there.
"It is darker and less glamorous, and you don't feel on a high.
"They are always good teams [out there] who are up for it against Arsenal.
"It is a different kind of test: can you raise your level in a less exciting environment?"

For a team like Arsenal and the young players it is good to play in such a setuation. I think it si a good test. We hope for the best of Wenger and the young Gunners.
