Manager Arsène Wenger claims that Arsenal's bruising encounter with bolton Wanderers, in which the Gunners eventually triumphed 2-0, was indication that this young team cannot be bullied into submission.
Wenger declared: "The time when we could be bullied is certainly over.
"We can respond when it happens now and on that front we are much stronger than we were.
"I feel the players, especially here where the pitch is so good, can escape the bad tackles and keep the ball moving quickly.
"We have shown that we have strength and this was another step for us.
"We know we dealt with the big games very well last season so we should be confident that we can do that again.
"When there is consistency, there is always quality. How far can we go? I don't know. But I have great belief we can go a long way.
"The Liverpool game will be big for us and then we have Manchester United. If we get over those two hurdles, we will be in a very good position."

I'm really pleased that we stood up to Bolton who ended up with 5 yellow cards. Another referee may well have dismissed at least one Bolton player and most would have awarded a penalty when Clichy was so obviously impeded.
