Fabregas hails captain Gallas

Midfielder Francesc Fabregas has hailed captain William Gallas for his examplary to leading his young charges.

Gallas was voted Man of the Match against United, but devoted his award to the team.

The former Chelsea defender also scored the last-minute goal that salvaged a deserved point for the Gunners.

Fabregas said: "William is a strong guy.

"He has shown at Chelsea and in the French national team as well as here that he is a big character.

"We respect him a lot. He is helping as captain, but everybody is a leader and that's the most important thing."
