Manager Arsène Wenger has bitten back in the row with his counterpart at Manchester United.
The Frenchman and the Gunners have been the subject of a senile tirade from Ferguson, whose team were denied all three points when captain William Gallas scored deep in injury time.
Ferguson then proceeded to criticise the security at the Emirates Stadium and Wenger's foreign policy.
Wenger, speaking ahead of his team's match against Slavia Prague, said: "It is not very nice to his own foreign players, first of all.
"I would not be very happy if I was a foreign player at Man United.
"I feel it is down to quality.
"If you look at the investments of Man Utd this year, they have invested a lot of money in foreign players.
"I always felt that sport rewards quality and does not hide behind artificial rules.
"If you put the level of the class down, it does not necessarily make the bad students better. It makes them worse.
"You can say as well to compete with the best players in the world is a chance to improve your level.
"If you organise a golf tournament, people go to watch Tiger Woods, whether that is in Scotland or anywhere else.
"When you go to Wimbledon, you want to see Federer. That is what people demand today.
"The world has moved on. People demand to see the best in the world and you cannot get them to watch a level down anymore.
"The real question is how can England take the opportunity to produce world-class players?"

You are quite right mr Wenger, its up to them to really know how to raise up their Game, and stop favouring their players when it comes to booking, and the rest. The world has really gone beyond that.

Ferguson only wants to stoke the flames to get into the head of Arsene Wenger. At times these mind games only seem to show who has the upper hand. If you say nothing then you are weak or unconcerned. Say something then it means he has got to you.
Alex can bost that he has a squad of English players at his disposal but how many of the current crop were from Man Utd's youth academy? It's nice when you have the funds to buy British but most teams can't do that. You have a goal to achieve and Arsenal do that. Wenger is working on bringing through British and he is doing it the right way.
People moan and comlain but the British players that haven't made it are doing well at other clubs. Would Bentley, Pennant and Stokes be the players they are without the foundations they had at Arsenal? No.
Just let the guy get on with his job :)

That says it all.One thing that makes the premier league tick is the presence of quality foreign players. What remains is foe the English players to raise their game and win positions in their teams;and not, by whining on the pages on newspaper.Remove foreign players from the premiership and see its popularity drop by 70% or even more.this is a fact.

When you think it is safe to go back in the water.....
At the time I thought relations between these two have improved, Sir Alex comes up with this tirade on foreign players. Smirks of jealousy if you ask me, as most of his investments this summer has gone on foreign players. If Ferguson is that patriotic, ask him to show us his garage and those of his English players. I rest my case.

It's nothing new to suggest that Fergie is a hypocrite. Just think back a couple of years or so to him saying how important the league cup is and he would play a full strength team when for years he had played his reserves and even opted out of the FA Cup one year. It's all just another pathetic attempt at gamesmanship from someone who is old enough but clearly not intelligent enough to know better. I do wish however that AW would not get involved, better to ignore.

Wenger is wrong on foriegn players. He should give the English players first choiceEnglish players should have at least 65 % to play in the team. It is not right to bring in 90% players from his home country and other 5 % from different countries and he says that he knows what he is doing. I appeal to fifa to help change the rule to suit everyone every country.
