Manager Arsène Wenger, after admitting that his side weren't at their fluid best against North London rivals Tottenham, also said that Lady Luck was smiling on his team that day.
Substitute Nicklas Bendtner came on the field as a substitute in the second half and scored within 36 seconds.
Wenger said: "That is part of the luck in the changes.
"Nicklas has the quality and scored a great goal as he was on the move and hanging in the air.
"It was a great, traditional English header."

What do you mean the title race is still on Fergie? I saw your team look like want to get a draw against Everton... But, Then ur player dive in, and the referee are very kind to Manchester all the time ... always gave Man U penalty.. That is so shitty man.. Team like arsenal always suffer a penalty, but Man U alwayz got penalty... that fucking idiot Ronaldo just score from penalty and then claim to be top scorer.. I almost bored at English Football since the F.A and referee always want Man U to win the season.. Everything has been planned..
