Manager Arsène Wenger has admitted that he is willing to have his team resort to playing the "long ball" if it brings the results required to win the title.
Three of the four goals in Arsenal's 4-1 demolition of Everton came from balls lumped forward to the forward players.
Wenger said: "Our goals did come from long balls but that was because Everton stopped us playing and we had to go a little bit longer.
"I feel when you go with a direct style, you have to have two strikers and recently we have only played with one up front.
"I feel Adebayor and Bendtner have that kind of presence so, sometimes, it is useful to play long balls to them.
"I feel you have to accept all kinds of options. Sometimes it's a long ball and sometimes it's a short ball.
"It was even more important for us to do that here because, after a year when we have shown huge improvement, it was good to end it on top of the league."

Rightly so, Arsenal must adjust tactics base on the style of the opponent, they try their best to entertain the fans but at the end of the day we need to win games. One minute they tell us we can’t win playing pretty football and the next we can’t win playing ugly football.
