Striker Robin van Persie could return against Tottenham in the Carling Cup semi-final today.
The Dutch international has been fighting niggly injuries in a bid to regain match fitness and will be hoping to make a good impact against the Gunners local rivals.
Manager Arsène Wenger said: "Yes Robin van Persie is back in the squad.
"He had a little set-back coming back from his knee injury, it was a muscle problem.
"But the positive side of it is that he could forget about his knee and work on his fitness."
England forward Theo Walcott is also in the Gunners' squad after missing the FA Cup win away to Burnley with a shoulder problem.
But the Arsenal trio of Kolo Touré, winger Emmanuel Eboue and utility man Alex Song are all away on international duty at the African Nations Cup.
Meanwhile, Jens Lehmann looks to be frozen out again as he makes way for young Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Wenger added: "Lukasz Fabianski will play in goal again, Theo Walcott is available while Johan Djourou and Philippe Senderos will play at the back.
"Apart from that it will be the players who played in the last [Carling Cup] game. Basically it will be a young side maybe with one or two experienced players."
