Arsenal are keen to loan full-back Kirrea Gilbert out on-loan again this month, after the player had just returned from an unsuccessful loan spell with Southend United.
Reserve coach Nick Banfield said: "Sometimes going out on loan works out and it can be successful.
"Kerrea though has had the other side of it. He has come back here, settled straight down to business and is looking to get his career going again with somebody hopefully taking him out on loan again.
"What happens with him now is up to Kerrea.
"He has been in the first team and proved exactly what he can do at that level. He needs to get his head down, work hard and go from there."
Out-of-favour midfielder Lassana Diarra has reportedly interested Olympique Lyon.
However, it is thought that Diarra would like to remain in England.
Bernard Lacombe, a special advisor to Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas, said: "He is a player that interests us.
"As far as he (Diarra) is concerned, he does not seem to have a great desire to return to the French championship.
"If he leaves Arsenal, he will certainly stay in England."

The Lehmans,Gilbertos can leave but Diarra shouldn't.He is physical and skilled.Actually he should replace Gilberto! He is fast enough!Let AW not afford to lose these lad and lets sign defenders like Ledley King! Now that Toure and Eboue have left for A.C.N what about if they became injured like RVP?

After last night's Carling Cup escape from the hands of the old enemy, I am more convinced than ever that Arsene needs to go shopping for a central defender right away. The two Swiss cheeses are just to soft for my football palate and Hoyte is no better. Senderos looks eager and committed but he can't give what he doesn't have. Ditto Djourou. Without Kolo and Gallas, Arsenal look threadbare at the back. Am sure Berba and Co can't wait for the return leg.
