Midfielder Denilson says that he is delighted that boss Arsène Wenger has given him the chance to shine and possibly impress Brazil national coach Dunga.
Denilson was paired with Gilberto Silva for the recent match against Tottenham and the 19-year-old says that hopefully Dunga will see that the pair make a good midfield partnership.
Denilson said: "Hopefully (Brazil coach) Dunga will look at this game and see that we can play together.
"I am working very hard and I hope next season I can get in the national side. I am progressing well."
The midfielder also said that he was happy with the result against Tottenham, especially when the Gunners scored late through Theo Walcott to maintain their unbeaten record against their local rivals.
"I am very proud of the team. The Carling Cup is very important to everyone and we must now focus on the game against Tottenham.
"We know that Arsenal have not lost in so many games against Tottenham and that is a fantastic record."

I wish Denilson would stop being naive and know that football has become a cut-throat sport and one must displace the older players so as to make a place for themselves. He should be telling Dunga on how he is getting more play-time than Gilberto.By the famous words of D.Trump,'It's nothing personal,it's just business.'

Cummon son. You were pretty much below average against Tottenham. Started your career off in the mould of Cesc and now stuck playing like Gilberto. You need to do much better to break into Brazil XI
