Wenger: We have self-belief

Manager Arsène Wenger has praised his side's self-belief, as his team look to increase their lead at the top of the Premiership to five points.

In previous seasons, the Gunners have been riled by the physical approach undertaken by some teams, but that tactic hasn't seemed to work this season.

However, all of their underlying potential would count for nothing if the team didn't win anything at the end of the season, and Wenger says that it is his job to get the best out of them.

He said: "The team as a whole had a personality and a mental toughness from the beginning of the season.

"We were confronted with major problems and showed resilience every time.

"My target is to get the best out of this team.

"We have to get the best out of them until the end of the season, and then we can let people judge how good we are or not."
