Manager Arsène Wenger admits that the players are hurt by the thrashing dished out by Manchester United last night.
The Gunners were second best in every department and the only player who looked like he cared was Mathieu Flamini, and he was only on the pitch as a late substitute.
Wenger said he still thought the team he put out had a chance to beat United but admitted he was limited by the options available.
He said: "I did not have many options. The players who were on the bench were all recommended not to play medically.
"I still thought we had a good enough team to have a chance but United were better than us.
"It is important to pick up and prepare for a massive game.
"My team is upset but they are strong mentally and will recover for Wednesday."
Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson also said that he hoped the loss would hurt Arsenal, and have an immediate impact on the race for the Premiership title.
Ferguson said: "I hope this result has an impact on the title race," he told MUTV. "When Arsenal come here in April they know they're in for a really good game.
"Who knows though - it's two months away and both clubs could be in different positions to now. But this result has certainly whetted our appetite for the league game."
