Aliadiere: Arsenal can still be champions

Striker Jeremie Aliádíère says that he is confident that his former club can still be Premiership champions come May.

Aliádíère scored against his old club over the weekend, only to see a late Kolo Touré header ensure a fourth successive draw in Arsenal's fixture list.

The Frenchman now plies his trade with Middlesbrough, who have never lost to Arsenal under manager Gareth Southgate's reign.

He said: "Sometimes you get a bad run, but they need to get over it. They need a good result to get their confidence back. I really hope they go and win it.

"I was here nine years, and you can't just forget that.

"It is still my club, even though I didn't play as much as I wanted to.

"I always look for their result and I still support them. It's nice to come back here, and very special to get a goal."

mphatso bazale- that is because Adebayor and Van Persie are not finishing properly. If we had Eduardo then it would have been better because he is capable of scoring. Go to google and type Eduardo Da Silva and you will get a biography on him. Check out the no. of goals he scored for Croatia and his former club.

Arsenal is a great team, i think the young players need to play together with experienced players. at the beginning of the season we were a team with everything that is goals and brilliance . but towards the end it seems arsenal is lacking the killer punch to grab the trophy and assuring the supporters the championshio.

Arsebal Will not win the tittle! it is as simple as that! Man utd will be hyped up to win all their matches taht are remaining and will defintly do so! unfortunanlty this season has to have ended like this for us arsenal fans! very dissappointing indeed!

I think we should buy Aliádíère in this coming transfer window.. he is much2 better than thierry henr and even ronaldinho.. his goal scoring is very superb and fast like lionel messi... even cristiano ronaldo could not achieve the world class level such as Aliádíère... he is the true legend of football.. after zinedine zidane, he is the true football legend in the making.. welcome to arsenal Jeremie Aliádíère...

like i said elsewhere about bobby,kinda club we are,to still have that loyalty from ex players.even when theyre playing against us.says it all about club and manager realy.i dont see this anywhere else.
