Kolo keeping the faith

Defender Kolo Touré has urged his team mates and Arsenal fans alike to remain confident in the final few fixtures of the season.

The Gunners have drawn four of their last five league games, and have conceded top spot in the league to Manchester United, having led with five points at one stage.

But Touré says that as long as the Gunners continue playing in a good spirit and create chances, the goals will come.

Arsenal take on Chelsea this coming weekend and with the Blues climbing up the table as well, the game will be a defining moment this season.

Touré said: "Again we were chasing the game [on Saturday] after conceding a really silly goal.

"It is always difficult for the team to come back and we are lucky that we scored a late goal again.

"Now we just need to keep going and win the big games. We are still in the title race and as long as we play like we did late on [against Middlesbrough] then in other games we might be more lucky.

"We will try to go to Chelsea and get some points. We know that we can go anywhere and win - we have shown that in Milan. We need to repeat that kind of performance next week and then we can beat Chelsea.

"We do not have a match now in the week, so we will rest and when we come back, we will be full of energy and can give everything. The most important thing is to be confident and play your game, stay strong in your mind and believe that until the end it is not finished.

"It is going to be an exciting finish to the Premier League. Whichever team is more confident and consistent is going to win the title.

"At the moment it is hard because we have dropped two points in every game. But when we get back to winning, we can carry that on until the end of the season."

Toure? u shouldnt be Talking. May be if you & Gallas didnt sleep in the DEFENCE we wouldnt be in this situation. The strikers aint scoring goals, as a defender don't conceed A GOAL.
I think @ da end of da season we should get u a serious defender & get rid of dat CRY BABY = gALLAs.

Problem is with conceding goals. We have been the team to concede a goal first and then score. This creates a lot of pressure among the teammates. If oyu look at Milan we won because we didn't concede any goal. We have managed to score almost every match which is good. Now it is time for Fabregas, Adebayor and Persie to get to to their old habits and win it for Arsenal.

One thing I'm sure of is that Arsenal will dominate possession, but about winning, I don't really think so anymore. Even coming second is seriously doubtful now.

we are going to win the chelsea, man utd & liverpool games. our only issue is the small teams. our youngsters need to get the right motivation & understand that the small games are equally important

Glad To see that he's got faith in the squad but realsitically we are not guna win the title this year! I dont even think we'll win the champions league which is a dead shame. I think in the summer arsene needs to buy a quality EXPERIENCED player that can get us the goals we need.Shame we had to end a perfect season like this, all in a space of 4games. And cummon, like we're guna beat chelsea at SB, their physically unstoppable! Utd willl hammer liverpool(as usual)!!
Be proud that we got somewhere though,,! xx
