Manager Arsène Wenger has said that the weekend's result against Bolton was his team's best ever come-back.
The Gunners were 2-0 down at half time with ten men, and managed to score 3 goals in the final half an hour of the match.
Captain William Gallas scored the first goal from a set-piece, and striker Robin van Persie slotted a calm penalty to bring the Gunners level.
Sustained Arsenal pressure finally told when midfielder Francesc Fabregas' shot was deflected into the Bolton goal.
Wenger said: "We knew at half time that 2-2 was not good enough. We had to continue to believe, show mental strength and play our game as much as we could.
"With 10 against 11 that is not easy. We had a little period where we suffered for the 15 minutes after half time but the last 30 minutes was all us and we created chance after chance.
"In the end we were a little lucky on the third goal but we kept going and got a very important victory.
"I can't remember a better comeback. We were 2-0 down with 10 men with half and hour to go yet we won 3-2.
"It is a great credit to the team and I am very proud of our performance. We got a big blow last week [against Chelsea] and we responded as a team."

Arsene wenger is the Best coach on planet earth...if arsenal and wenger is getting the kind of support Man U and Alex F is getting from refs and FA, then arsenal will be winning premiership every year.PLs wenger can u buy english players so that we will stop suffering bias treatments. Then secondly wenger should learn how to talk to refs to protect to our key players, feggy did that and they have benefitted from it...u can see no injury for Ronaldo and rooney.

Credit to the boys for the comeback at Bolton! However, it could be really sweet to see Arsenal on a podium receiving some silverware. There can be no doubt that Wenger is the best manager in the premiership, but adding two or three star players (especially) on the wingers and upfront would ensure that next season we get at least one trophy. That said, congratulations Wenger and the boys for the job at the Reebok. From the 60th minute of that game to the final whistle, for me, those were some of the finest footballing moments of Arsenal this season.

Gentlemen,
When you pay a big mortgage, how much space for financial maneouvre do you really have?
AF never had to built the Theatre of dreams, it was there for him.
Please have a look at the financing of the Mancs, Liverpool and Chavski, they are all living in a financial bubble waiting to burst. Here in the UK we shall have the crisis of the sub-prime football clubs based on debt and sustainable losses (Chavski)for tax evasion purposes.
AW has the responsible approach, he manages the club the way you and I would manage the family finances- he is cautious and prudential, but unlike us he has a vision for the club. he does nbotw ant to burden the future of the club with petulant spending. So let us show more respect to AW.
Do you really that Arsenal have £80 million to spend? There are only so many miracles that could be made with a reasonable spending. Arsenal is the only one of the Big four clubs that is (still)British owned. The values of the owners and the manager make the club what it is. Have a look at the Mancs, Chavski an Liverpool to appreciate what we have.

We dont need another striker, we have 5 good strikers already.

The reason why Wenger didn't want to buy a striker is because we had Eduardo and Ade was on a goal spree. Another thing is that if Wenger is sacked then who is better than Wenger and who can you find who is really commited to Arsenal. No Way of Mourinho coz he had some talks with the agents of Inter since Mancini is leaving.

Arsenal is a real football club. AW doesnt spend huge amounts because hes happy with the current squad, and they proved him right against bolton. Im sure no other prem club couldve came back under those circumstances.

I think youve hit it right on the head David. We love AW and hes the best but it seems only He knew we didnt need to buy in the transfer window. We were paper thin and with long term withdrawls we needed to strengthen.Woodgate was up for grabs and looking at what hes doing at the other place, wouldve been a worthwhile addition.Anelka wouldve gone against the grain but look what Chelsea got for 15M...both positions where we have been weak in recent games.Im no manager but 25m thrown into two immediate impact players wouldve been a great investment and maybe seen us five points clear,as we shouldve been.Still-great comeback at Reebok and a great performance weds will see all our smiles return.

Fantastic preformance by the team! But if AW says greatest comeback my mind goes back to august 2004..
But of course with ten men away from home on a bad pitch, very nice!!!
I also think Arsene should have invested, we are were we are just because we can only replace our (also young) big players with kids... Its such a shame because we played great football this season. Man U are getting credits now but were bad in the begin of the season.

Apart from Wenger's super vision in young players, I think Gbenga made his point by saying Wenger is the man to blame for this season's latest slump. 1) He had the chance to strengthen our squad in January when we were leading the league, but he chose to gamble with his already thin roster; 2)it's the second time in five years seen we lost the lead to ManU during the final phase of the season, there must be something wrong with his ability to turn things around like AF; 3) Wenger might be great during his early years at Arsenal, but things have changed dramatically, with all the other big three and teams like West Ham and Villa and Man City were taken over by foreign investors who dropped tons of cash into the transfer market, and that's why you saw Chelski won the 2005 league and still added Shevchinko and Ballack the year after, and ManU won last year and immediately grabbed Nani, Anderson, and Tevez right after the campaign was over. So Wenger has to make change to his policies to cope with the current situation. And I think that's why we have built a magnificent stadium to triple our match day revenue, in order to invest more into the squad. If not, why Emirates?

aw is the best manager because his team plays the most attractive football.2.he knows the value of money.3. he buys world class players for a small amount like fabregas,flamini,toure,rvp,clichy.4.he develops players rather than bringing world class players.5.he is in a good position with such a thin squad but if he wants to win more trophiees he shud buy one or two world class player a season

would have to agree the circumstance (2 goals down, 10 men, reebok stadium, injuries) made this an amazing comeback. It does seem though that our backs need to be against the wall for the best of us to reveal itself though. Great victory and gives the title push a small breath of life.

Its all mind games. Wenger wants to make this team feel special, the same way he said that Fab and the Flamster are his best ever midfield patnership.

It was a fantastic comeback!! Credit to le Boss a the Lads for not giving up!!
I don't know about it being the best comeback ever...
Middlesboro at home in the invincibles season was, in my opinion, a greater comback. But in terms of monumental importance i would have to pick the Henry inspired comeback against Liverpool!! Football greatness!!!

Arsene Wenger should be sacked, he has been inconsistent for 4 seasons due to is inability to buy players even though he was given money. wat kind of a coach will keep doing the same mistakes for over 4 seasons. i hope they change him soon cause he will do the same next season.
