Wenger: Bendtner has a great future at Arsenal

Manager Arsène Wenger is confident that striker Nicklas Bendtner has a bright future at the club, after the Danish striker scored the equalising goal against Liverpool over the weekend.

It kept Arsenal's fading title hopes alive, after league leaders Manchester United also dropped valuable points against Middlesbrough, leaving Chelsea as the biggest winners this weekend.

Bendtner has had a history of mischief and trouble with his team mates, famously being involved in a very public row with strike partner Emmanuel Adebayor during a match at White Hart Lane.

Bue Wenger insists that he still has a pivotal part to play in Arsenal's future.

Wenger said: "I feel as well some young players have made big progress and next year they will be better players.

"Players like Bendtner, who has already made progress from the start of the season. Next year you can consider him a real striker."

We will see what NB is capable of when the right playing partner is found. Also, he must be given due reward by ALL players when scoring or providing the pass tha set up the goal.

Bendtner is like Wenger's secret Agent. He puts him in and boy delivers. He should be nicknamed AGENT BENDTNER or 007. I see him to be the Next Bergkham.

Fearino is right. The problem is the only person who supports Bendtner is Wenger. No one likes him I guess. He will be a world class striker. He hasn't had much opportunities coz every alternate match he used to play. He never used play like every match or something just once like in 3 matches.

I think Bendtner is class, he just hasn't been given a decent run in the team! I think that he is better than Ade coz he has very good ball control and when it comes to headers, there is no striker better in the league! I say give Bendtner a chance to start next season and see what he's capable of! He's going to be a very good player very soon!

Sure he is a player with big potential but i can almost sense that he might leave arsenal in a few years time. It seems he's having some trouble with his teammates, when he scored the equalising goal against liv recently, only walcott went up to him to celebrate. Where's the team spirit?

Bendtner is good and unlike Ade he makes most of the chances. He just needs to improve his shot power and finish the ball properly.
